Such characters!!!!!

I've been writing on a new novel for a week now, and I'm struggling to STOP for a minute and just relax.  Ever create characters that are so unpredictible you can't WAIT to see what they are going to do next?  I have some pure-D FOOLS working on my last nerve!!  As in my last novel, I'll probably finish it in a short span of time, because these FOOLS won't let me be!!!

Recent history?

Just how "recent" is recent history, and what events do we consider to be of an historic nature?  Is it whether or not they'll be remembered annually one-hundred years from now?  Or even ten years down the road?
