Beat the Prejudice! Eradicate the Stigma!

The purpose of my ms., Carried Away: Autobiography of a Bipolar Psychologist, is to fight the prejudice vs. persons living with bipolar disorder. I can fight the prejudice from Nevada, where I'm currently living, but I think I'll get better results if I live in a big city. So, on March 1, I will move to New York City. Writers, do you want to help eradicate the stigma placed on bipolar disorder?

To effectively fight prejudice vs. bipolars, one bipolar has to be brutally honest about who s/he is. The only cure for the (inner) prejudice against mental illness: deeply intimate, “inner,” stories written in first person. So I wrote Carried Away: Autobiography of a Bipolar Psychologist. Someone fighting a prejudice that lurks at the very core of the human psyche must go right down to that core.See More
