"A large tragedy has the power to make us stop for a moment and reflect on the possibility of loss and hurt. People are reluctant to change. We become creatures of habit, comfortable with what we know. Loss and tragedy knock us out of our comfort…"
"Jill- Arrogance is putting the ego in charge and assumes (often in error) that we know how things are and should be. Ego and arrogance block us from being open to other viewpoints and options. Easy to understand the concept, but nullification of the…"
"Jill- I love the "need to know" idea. That's where I get frustrated - lack of patience waiting for the answers to be revealed, arrogance in thinking I should know now, and lack of faith that it will all work out in the right way at…"
"I think the quiet of no immediate response frightens us, appearing to be a no-response or wrong number. Why believe in a Higher Power with limited abilities? It's only further down the road with hindsight that we see the blessing of unanswered…"
"It's a generous offer and I've been pondering the question for a few days. What really tips the scale for an agent to pick up a new potential project or author? Is it primarily platform or a balance of platform, idea, writing, and/or…"

"Thanks John. I think we live in a time of great confusion where we become distanced not only from other people, but ourselves. It's difficult to set aside quiet time to ensure we our finding our "role in the world", as you wrote. If…"
"Good point. I think that's the process of maturation - working on yourself, seeing who you are, getting comfortable with that or making appropriate changes. They say you can't really love others if you don't love yourself. I think…"

"Like several other authors, I would spend a great deal on social media expertise. With or without the $25k budget, we'll be doing as much of this as we can.
My question for others, would it pay to actually buy your own book? Would publishers be…"
"In Kabbalistic thought, it’s not possible to live without a soul. In fact, according to the tradition humans are actually endowed with two souls. One is described as an animalistic soul, attached to our earthly desires. The other is the…"
"Todd - That is the coolest thing I have seen! I spend part of everyday with social media and seeing what's new but this is my first look at Kickstarter for a book promotion. Hats off to you. Signed up. Looking forward to that PDF and…"
Zee, Thank you for your friend request and your comment. I appreciate it. I have an agent in London who took my proposal to The London Book Fair and had a bit of interest. So I'm thinking lots of positive thoughts!

The book idea is from a beautiful quote by Nicholas Roerich; "Blessed are the Obstacles...through them we grow" I teach this principle all the time to my clients....Right now I am working on a children's book and a series of books about the spiritual path of animals...cats, dogs and horses... But will remember your vote when I am on to the next project!!
